The BRIGHT Leaders Pathways are curated collections of courses designed to target development of specific leadership skills at various levels. The purpose of these collections is to help employees grow as professionals in an on-demand, self-guided virtual format.

The Pathways include content from all areas of UTD Talent Development, including external training platforms and recorded internal content. Pathways are designed to be completed at the employees’ own pace, and employees can take any pathway they have an interest in, to best fit each employee’s schedule and desired professional development needs.

Employees who complete a pathway will receive a digital Badge they can display on their email signature or other professional sites.

Foundations Pathway

While the Pathways are designed to give participants flexibility in their professional development journey, all pathways need a strong foundation. With that in mind, the Foundations Pathway is the first step. This critical pathway provides a base knowledge of skills and competencies that support successful performance of all employees at UT Dallas, no matter their position as faculty or staff. Laying the groundwork is key so additional pathways can build upon this foundational knowledge. Once participants complete the Foundations Pathway, we encourage them to complete additional pathway(s) that will build and develop leadership skills for all levels.
