The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) recognizes the critical contributions of staff in our overall success as an institution of higher education. We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining highly skilled and dedicated people to support our mission. The Staff Compensation Study (SCS) will help UTD evolve our current compensation structure to meet the needs of a growing campus and an ever-changing labor market.  Knowing compensation is a vital part of the employee experience and total rewards package, our goal is to revise the staff compensation structure to be more competitive within designated salary markets based on position, and update our classification and compensation structure by creating job families and career ladders so staff understand the job opportunities available and the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for each. Ultimately, we want to offer staff at all levels an opportunity to build and engage in a challenging, productive, and rewarding career at UTD.

The Office of Human Resources(HR) is pleased to announce UTD is partnering with Willis Towers Watson (WTW), a global consulting leader recognized for their transformative work with numerous higher education institutions, to enhance our pay structure, ensuring market-aligned salaries and forging a competitive compensation strategy.

We are excited to begin this project and appreciate your support and patience as we embark on this important effort. As this project is expected to run through at least 2024, we will keep you informed of progress through regular updates.
