Financial Wellness
Financial wellness involves managing finances effectively to reduce stress, enhance quality of life and achieve financial independence. It’s a lifelong journey that evolves through different life stages. Understanding these stages and adapting strategies accordingly is key to financial security and peace of mind.
UT Dallas will provide ongoing financial wellness education to assist and help employees and their families to manage the full spectrum of the financial wellness life cycle – from hire, retire and beyond.
The UT System Retirement Benefits Program includes:
- Two retirement pension plans – Teacher Retirement System of Texas and Optional Retirement Program: Overview of TRS and ORP
- Four voluntary savings plans – traditional pre-tax and after-tax (Roth) options
There are currently five approved retirement vendors. We will work with these vendors to provide comprehensive education programs and helpful tools for UTD employees. Click the links below from each financial vendor to attend or view a webinar.
