Reminder: Annual Benefits Enrollment Ends on Thursday, July 31
Annual Benefits Enrollment for 2025-2026 will end at midnight on Thursday, July 31. Benefits-eligible employees, RAs/TAs/GAs and retirees who want to enroll in or change their benefits must do so before the deadline. Review the insurance benefits changes for plan year 2025-2026.
Review your current benefits and enroll for 2025-2026 through My UT Benefits using your UT Dallas NetID and password. To get the best experience during your enrollment, see the supported browser information. Internet Explorer 11 and Edge Legacy are no longer supported.
For technical assistance, please call My UT Benefits Support at 844-870-0044 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central. You also may enroll through My UT Benefits using the Benefitplace app via Google Play and Apple App stores. The company code is UTDALLAS. You must enroll before midnight of July 31.
If you do not make any annual enrollment changes, your 2024-2025 coverage will roll over except for UT FLEX. According to Internal Revenue Service guidelines, you must re-elect UT FLEX each plan year.
Visit the UT Dallas Benefits Resource Center for information to help you select the benefits that best fit you and/or your family. The site contains all the benefits program information that you may need to review during annual benefits enrollment and after July 31. All virtual benefits fair presentations and recordings from July 15 are posted on the vendor’s online booths. You also can view the Benefits Fair Slideshow (pdf).
If you experience a life event change (i.e., marriage, divorce, birth of a child, etc.) in July, you can make changes to your benefits within 31 days from the date of the event at My UT Benefits. Click the “Life Event” link under the Benefits tab in the site’s top navigation. Then follow the online instructions. If your life event date occurs in August, you will need to complete and sign the UT Benefits Enrollment/Change Application Form and email it to benefits@utdallas.edu within 31 days of the event date.
New hires and newly benefits-eligible employees have 31 days to enroll from their start date or benefits-eligible date. Employees who are hired, rehired or become benefits-eligible between Tuesday, July 1 and Sunday, Aug. 31 may have to complete dual enrollment (2024-2025 and 2025-2026). The choices you make for your initial new hire or new benefits eligibility for 2024-2025 may impact your 2025-2026 benefits. You must first enroll in your 2024-2025 new-hire benefit election and then enroll for your 2025-2026 benefits.
Online enrollment in UT FLEX flexible spending plans is disabled during July and August. If you wish to enroll in UT FLEX for the current plan year ending Aug. 31, you will need to complete and sign the UT Benefits Enrollment/Change Application Form and email it to benefits@utdallas.edu within 31 days of the event date.
In most cases, your benefits selections for 2025-2026 will take effect on Monday, Sept. 1 and will be reflected on your October paycheck for your review. You must contact the Office of Human Resources – Employee Benefits Services by Friday, Oct. 31 to report any clerical or administrative error.
